Mina Mabel Forsyth

Mina Forsyth was born in Estevan, Saskatchewan in 1921. She received her B.F.A in painting at the University of Manitoba and her M.A. from Michigan State University. Mina attended Emma Lake workshops under Jack Shadbot in 1955, Jules Olitski in 1964, Lawrence Alloway in 1965, Harold Cohen in 1966 and Frank Stella in 1967. She also attended the Banff School fo Fine Arts.
