Dorothy KnowlesCanadian, 1927 - 2023
Dorothy Knowles ws born in Unity, Saskatchewan in 1929. She studied at the University of Saskatchewan Summer School at Emma lake, Banff School of fine Arts and University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon. She attended Emma Lake Artists' Workshops from 1962-1965 under Clement Greenberg, Kenneth Noland, Jules Olitski and Lawrence Alloway and again in 1967 under Michael Steiner.
