Douglas Gibb Morton

Douglas Morton was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1926. He studied at Winnipeg School of Art night classes, Art Centre School and University of Southern California, Los angeles, Academie Julian, lEcole des Beaux Arts and the studio fo Andre L'HOte in Paris, France. He also studied at Camberwell School of Art and the studio fo Martin Block in London, Englan. He joined the University of Saskatchewan, Regina in 1967 as Head of the School of Art. He subsequently joined the staff of York University, Toronto in 1969.
