Reta Cowley

Reta Summers Cowley was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 1910. She moved to Yorkton in 1917 and to Saskatoon in 1945. Reta studed under Augustus F. Kenderdine at the University of Saskatchewan, with Walter J. Phillips, Charles Comfort, H.G. Glyde and A.Y. Jackson at Banff School of Fine Art. She also took classes under Nicola Bjelajas and Eli Bornstein at he University of Saskatchewan.
